FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to send a gift card to someone?

You will need a wallet that is compatible with the blockchains of the tokens you want to send (eg: MetaMask for ethereum or bsc). You will also need a sufficient amount of the native coin of that blockchains (bnb for bsc, trx for tron, eth for ethereum and matic for polygon) to purchase the cryptos and cover the gas fees.

I want to send a cryptocurrency gift card but it keeps failing. What should I do?

Please ensure that you have enough of the native coin of that blockchain to cover the purchase amount and the gas (transaction) fees. If you are not sure, send an email to support@just.money

I've sent $100 worth of cryptocurrency to a friend and he only received $95. What happened?

The value of cryptocurrencies is constantly fluctuating. If you request us to send "x" amount of a coin, the receiver will have this exact amount of that coin. The value in fiat is not guaranteed as it depends on the market.

I want to send some cryptocurrencies to a friend but he doesn't know anything about crypto. Will he succeed to redeem the gift card?

Explanations to redeem the gift card are provided in the email with the cryptocurrency gift card. If the receiver has any trouble redeeming the gift card he can contact us by email support@just.money

After the cryptocurrency gift card was sent to me, how long do I have to redeem it?

Once the gift card is sent, the receiver will have a maximum of 6 months to redeem the card.

I didn't receive my cryptocurrency gift card, what should I do?

Please, verify that the email did not go into your spam or promotions folder. If the gift card isn't there, contact our team support@just.money

Do you hold my private key on your server?

Once the gift card is redeemed, the private key will be deleted from our servers within 24 hours. Please make sure that you have stored your private key in a safe place because 24 hours after you redeemed the gift card, we won't be able to help you to retrieve it.

Does the gift card sender know my private key?

No, only the receiver will receive the private key. Please immediately write it down on a piece of paper and don't show it to anybody. The private key allows access to control the funds that are on the associated wallet.

I have redeemed my gift card and imported the wallet inside my wallet app but I can't see my cryptos. What should I do?

First of all, make sure that you have imported your wallet properly. Verify that your wallet address matches the wallet address we have sent to you when you redeemed the gift card. If not, import the wallet again and make sure that every character of your private key matches. Still can't see your cryptos? No worries, you probably just have to display them on your wallet app main page. Several step-by-step tutorials are available on the internet for the different wallet apps. Still can't see your cryptos? Contact us by email support@just.money and tell us what wallet app you are using and which cryptos you received.

Do you use my email address to marketing purposes?

No, definitely not. We only use your email address to send the gift card to and nothing else.
