# Utility

$JM token serves as the instrument for our DEX’s cross-chain swap feature. When a user initiates a cross-chain swap, tokens are first converted to $JM, then bridged to the destination chain, and finally swapped into the requested token.

This mechanism provides a strong use case for the token, ensuring seamless cross-chain transactions while also generating a revenue stream for the project.
